BCSSA invites coaches, officials, volunteers, parents, and directors to join us online for our annual Spring Conference April 7-11, 2022.
About this event
The BC Summer Swimming Association welcomes all coaches, parents, officials, and volunteers to join us for this year’s SPRING CONFERENCE.
As the Covid-19 pandemic is ongoing, we will be hosting the conference once again online, however we will be using the Canadian based EventMobi as our host. We believe that it will provide all our conference participants with an excellent online experience and the opportunity to connect directly with participants from other regions.
This year’s Conference will FOCUS ON HEALTH.
Some of the confirmed education workshops include:
Mental Preparation for Competition
Healthy Sleep Habits
Carl Cooper’s Coaching Corner
Goal Setting for Coaches
And of course, some of our more fun sessions will include:
BCSSA Trivia / Kahoot
Virtual Wine & Cheese small groups
Active workouts and breaks
That’s a wrap on the 2021 Golden Dolphins Season. Congratulations to all the swimmers and to the recipients of the annual awards.
This was a season like no other, and it was with outstanding teamwork from our members that we could take each bump, jump and hurdle in our stride and make the best of the opportunities available.
The way our team bounced back after a season out of the pool is nothing short of impressive and from the bottom of our hearts, thank you!
Swimmers, Thank you for your season’s worth of hard work and dedication resulting in personal improvements and fun with friends creating everlasting memories. We look forward to seeing you back in the pool in 2022 which will be the 40th anniversary year for the Golden Dolphins.
Thank you to all of our Volunteers, Officials, the BCSSA – OK Region and the Board of Directors for your time, leadership, patience and support for the team.
And… of course thank you to each parent/guardian for the early morning drives, the extra packed snacks, the donated weekends of and all the things you do on a day to day basis that allow your swimmers to take part in a sport they love.
And last but certainly not least, a huge heartfelt thank you to our coaching team!
Brad, Savannah, Elyssia, Emme & Katrina.
Your dedication, preparation and execution of the Dolphins programming was excellent.
We are truly grateful for the time our team has had with you all in this Summer of resilience.
You guided, motivated and inspired our Dolphins and these lessons will stay with them throughout their time on the team and into their futures.
Thank you for a wonderful summer and we hope to see you all next season!
